The idea for Mophia's Gluten Free Bakery arose from the craving and need for healthy, freshly baked, readily available gluten free breads and cakes. My seven-year-old daughter and I are both coeliacs and have been following a strict gluten free diet for the past four years. Mophia's products have therefore developed based on the needs of a coeliac child and a coeliac adult.

My husband created the name for the bakery in February 2009, Mophia's, from the combination of our daughter's names, Molly and Sophia. I thought that was brilliant, so the bakery was established and it has been non-stop excitement ever since.

Mophia's is here to supply completely gluten free breads and cakes, with no risk of cross contamination, which are freshly baked, affordable, and very importantly yummy (or 'Bouncy' as my daughter describes them)! All products used in Mophia's are listed in the most recent version of The Irish Coeliac's Society Handbook.

I hope you really enjoy the ever expanding range of freshly baked gluten free products from Mophia's bakery. It is a growing business and all feedback is very much appreciated.

On a final note, Mophia's Gluten Free products are so good the whole party can enjoy them, no one will even know they are gluten free, with no cross contamination in site....... that's our secret shhhhhhhh!
